Hi Aaron, I'm Tink (found you at Pete's Place.) We're kind of near you, in New Bedford, MA. I wish I'd have known before that you were in the UMass Tommy. (or that UMass did Tommy!) I didn't find out until late in May. :o( That's what I get for not keeping up !
I read the review of your performance, too. Great work! I watched your video and I think you're amazing. Very talented. My oldest son is 10 and he watched with his mouth wide open. He wanted to know if you practice on trampolines or just on your bed. ;o)
The slide show up there on Photobucket is beautiful. I also notice the "mufflers" in your ears at the concert. Very smart! It looks like someone helped you figure things out. Yay!
Well, my son Orion (Oh-rye-un) says Hi and you're cool.
That was cool, that was really good. Great effort, Aaron Jr. I don't know too much about anything, but one thing I know for certain, I couldn't have done what you just did, and I'm like way older than you, and bigger too. That was some wicked guitar, man.
Hi Aaron, you're welcome. I saw The Who during their Farewell tour in Toronto Canada. They said it was their Farewell tour but they lied! The Who got rich and they had to keep playing live shows to pay for their extravagant lifestyle. It happens to most rockers. Maybe it will happen to you. As for me, after I made a few million dollars it would be, "Goodbye suckers, I'm outta here!" Then I would retire and live happily ever after, just like in the Fairytales.
I live at the western tip of Lake Ontario, in Canada, about 40 miles southwest of Toronto in a town called Stoney Creek. Canada is a pretty nice place to live.
As for, "What is Smozology?" I'll get back to you with a definition.
Hey, have you read Huckleberry Finn? If you haven't, you really should. It's a really good story, but you can't read it in school because it has the word "nigger" in it and we don't talk like that anymore. BUT when it was written and the way Mark Twain uses the word, it's really educational.
Okay, that's a lot of typing for me and I'm getting tired, so good night. (Remember "a lot" meaning "a whole bunch" is two words - do you know what "allot" means and how to use the word properly?) It's means to allocate something.
FANTASTIC! I am a big fan of young boys and girls starting out on their music adventure.
I have a 15-year-old son who plays a little bass guitar and a 8-year-old daughter who is starting to mess around with the piano.
You have great energy and I see good things happening for you. Keep practicing and remember -- ALWAYS HAVE FUN WITH MUSIC. That's the most important lesson.
I left a message in the Pinball thread but I just realized this is the updated thread.
Aaron, very inspirational kid! I've been a Who fan for 27 years and I have never heard someone at the young age of 8 play as well as you did with those songs, great job and you have a very bright future in everything you will do :)
I have seen THE WHO 7 times Greenday,Van Halen and Govt Mule. I have also seen Robert Plant and counting crows. They warmed up for THE WHO. Pete Townshend is the greatest guitar player and writer in the world. I hope to someday do great things as he has done.

Aaron,
You have really improved! Everything is coming along amazingly well & the lessons are paying off, buddy. Is your guitar teacher a Who fan?
Thanks for sharing. Why didn't you play it on your new Dean guitar? Keep on rockin'!
Love to you, Sammy and your Mom and Dad. Hope to see you soon so we can jam!
Lovin' the haircut, too.
Don't forget my backstage passes when you are famous
great showmanship ending with the birdman and then a jump!
Love,
Lin

Hey, that was amazing Aaron, I've posted it on my blog, hope you don't mind.
That guitar has a real nice tone, particularly on the beginning of Pinball Wizard, nice job mate.
