Starting to post again

Getting sick of Facebook at least here you have some privacy. No band right now things seem to be at a stand still. I need to get out and play. Met some very cool people along the way. Wish my band would get there act together and we can play some weekend shows. We cant now till Jay gets on days. Hopefully soon.

Long time since I posted

Hi all

Been a long time since I posted anything. I am just so busy these days I dont know which end is up. I have lessons 6 days a week, 3 guitar and 1 sax and jazz and chorus and music theory. i am also trying my hand at recording. It took me 42 takes of just 1 guitar track the other day just to get the sound right. I am going to play all of the instruments. I can play bass and drums now. Thanks god for Rockband. I think i could be a great drummer some day also. I really like percussion. I am going to record 6 songs 5 covers and one original. The only part is getting the time to do it. I am excited about turning double digits this year. March will be here soon. I hope to be playing for the Make a wish Foundation hopefully, I think I might play acoustically. i have been working on a Oasis song "Wonderwall". I like this band and I like there new album. I like playing electric also we will see. The only problem is the electric sounds better with a full band behind me. Who has time to get together and practice. Dad is thinking about building a small heated barn out back with padded walls and heat for me to practice in. That would be awesome a full stack of amps a Mapex drum set and fretless bass and some recording equipment all I would need is a bed and a bathroom and I would never leave. I hope all of my friends are doing well. I would really like to get to meet some of you. Dad might take me to Dobbs Ferry this year to see Lin. It has been to long over 2 years. I miss her. I would like to hang out and meet her Mom and play with the dogs. Then out to Cali and meet Rob and just jam and learm some skills and then jam some more. I would also like to hang with Gary S for a day. I watch his video's all of the time. His songs are so clean nicely recorded. Thats what i want to do very soon.

Busy Busy Busy

Besides playing guitar I have now been taking lessons for Alto saxaphone. Very cool I want to be in the school band. I was asked to try out for jazz band for guitar but all of those kids are 6th graders. I am only in fourth grade so i think I would of felt out of place. The jazz conductor says I would have been a shoe in to get it. Maybe next year. I also got asked to sing in advanced chorus. I really like that and dad says it will help my singing. Dad says I need alot of pratice in singing, he askedd if my teacher was deaf. He's so weird sometimes but he still is the coolest Dad.
On Oct 24th I will be on wzlx radio in boston playing at a pub called THE HARP. The WHO is going to play there that night and I am going to play some WHO songs on the radio. How cool is that. My setlist is this.

Dec. 10th I will be playing at Umass Dartmouth Variety show. Three songs,Mother from Pink Floyd acoustic by myself and Enter Sandman and The Seeker with my band Bullet Proof Car.

Govt mule

Well went to the Melody Tent in Hyannis Mass. It is inside a tent. Very cool but very hot inside. I gotta say it is a great place to see a concert. You are very close. Got to see Warren haynes very close. Dad says the farthest seat is 50 feet away. The band is excellent and very tight. I can see me doing this also. Real laid back and the crowd was totally into them. They really appreciate the audience. Kind of like a WHO concert. I would like to see them again and again.

October will be my next and probably last concert of the year. What a way to end. It has been an`awseome year for shows. Thanks Dad and Mom for letting me go.

Van Halen 2 days later

Well overall the show was very good. David Lee Roth voice was good in some parts and very muffled in others. I give him a 7. Wolfie was great good voice great bass I am impressed that he is only 7 years older than me and he plays in a major rock band, I gave him a 8.5. Alex was good. Very cool solo but nothing that really jumped out at me. I give him a solid 7. The nite goes to Eddie. Cool sounds lightning fast riffs sounds like a multiple of guitars playing. His guitar solo featured eruption with som very cool stuff thrown in. Lots of guitar effects and his use of the whammy classic. And oh by the way they played MAGIC BUS just a little part of it. And they also played crossroads and sounded exactly like Clapton. I would like to see them again, dad bought me a cool shirt. We see Gov't mule next in july. I love Warren Haynes. I love summer.

Off to see Van Halen tomorrow.Cant wait to see Eddie. The place should be rockin. Have not been to a concert in a while. Last timeis THE WHO in Bridgeport. I am also going to see Gov't mule. Love Warren Haynes. I will tell ya how the show went.
